Since I decided to compress two books’ wort of material into one, which I think will make for a tighter story, the ideas have all tried racing out of my head.  Now I feel like my brain is a clogged funnel and I can feel the ideas fighting to get out first.  It’s the opposite of writer’s block.  Rather than standing in one of those wind machines you used to see gameshow contestants in grabbing at fluttering bills, all those bills are ideas.  Yes, this is better than standing in an empty tube, but frustrating nonetheless.

So I suppose it’s back to the story board to see if any one piece calls out to me more than the rest and to work on that one.

My goal is to have the first draft finished by the end of this month.
